On the day of your surgery, you will be administered some anesthesia in order to help you relax and eventually fall asleep. Due to the location and the surgery itself, your buttocks will be sore for about 10 days following your procedure, making it difficult to sit on your bottom during this timeframe. You will be prescribed some pain medication to aid in your soreness, but please remember to be patient with yourself and your body during this time. Following the initial recovery period, your sensitivity should subside and you will be able to resume your normal activities.
