What’s the First Step?

When you come in for your Butt Implant augmentation, we will first prep you for surgery, which will include being administered general anesthesia or intravenous sedation, depending on what is discussed between you and Dr. Jaiswal.
Once you are properly, sedated, Dr. Jaiswal will make an incision between your butt cheeks, either at the top or the bottom. He will then insert the implants inside or below your butt muscle, again, based on what is decided upon during your butt implant consultation. Once he is finished, the incisions will be closed with stitches or surgical tape, and you will be wrapped in gauze and possibly given a compression garment to minimize swelling.
After your Butt Implant surgery, we will monitor you in the recovery room as you wake up from sedation. Once you have been released, you will be able to return home and recover peacefully. You should have a family member or friend available to give you a ride home and possibly help you around the house for the first few days.
During the first 24 hours of your recovery, you can expect to experience some pain, soreness, swelling, and bruising around your treated areas. Dr. Jaiswal will temporarily prescribe you some medication to help manage your pain and reduce the chance of infection. While it may be difficult, it is very important to refrain from sitting on your bottom or laying on your back for two to three weeks following your butt implant surgery. Doing so may compromise your expected results.
Most patients can return to work and their normal daily activities after about two weeks post-surgery, however, Dr. Jaiswal will be able to give you a better time frame when you come in for your check-up appointments. Results can be noticed immediately after surgery, but your best results will become more visible once all of the swelling and bruising have faded, which can take about three to six months.

Are Butt Implants Painful?
It’s very common to feel a mild degree of pain for the first week or so after Butt Implant surgery, however, this can be treated with the pain medications that Dr. Jaiswal will prescribe to you and ice packs held for brief periods of time throughout the day. After your surgery, you will be given some instructions on how to alleviate your recovery.
How many appointments will I need?
Dr. Jaiswal will have you return about a week after surgery to remove or replace any bandages and see how you are initially recovering. You can then expect to return a few more times over the next six months, usually spaced apart by a few weeks, extending your return every check-up. Most patients should expect a total of three or four follow-up appointments after their surgery.

How long until I see results?
